Where Should I park for the wedding?
There is no onsite parking at this venue, but we hope its beauty makes up for it. We recommend using a rideshare service (Uber, Lyft, or taxi) for easiest access and to drink freely. For those choosing to drive, here are some options:
Street Parking – Dupont Circle has street parking but be sure to check signs for residential-permit blocks. Use Parkmobile App for convenience and to check meter times.
Public Garage Parking – Use SpotHero to find and reserve a spot in advance. The 11 Dupont Circle NW Garage (1519 New Hampshire Ave NW) is very close to the venue but closes at 11 pm on Saturdays.
If you are concerned about transportation, please let us know so we can help you navigate attending.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive at 5 p.m! The Ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Don't forget to allow ample time to navigate to the venue or through DC's unexpected traffic joys.
What's the attire?
Semi-formal to formal. Due to the historic floors, we recommend avoiding spiked/stiletto heels—but most importantly, be comfortable!
Is the Ceremony or Reception Inside or Outside?
The Ceremony + Reception are located in the same venue, The Perry Belmont House, and is inside. The only outdoor consideration is walking to the venue (if not getting dropped off).
Is the venue accessible?
The venue has two small steps at the entrance. Once inside, you can reach our ceremony and reception location via stairs or elevator.
Main Staircase: A grand staircase leads to the ceremony space. The steps aren't steep, but there are many of them.
Elevator Access: Ramps inside to the right of the entrance lead to an elevator that goes directly to the ceremony + reception location. Please note: one ramp section may require assistance for wheelchair users due to its incline. The elevator also provides access to an accessible restroom, plus three additional restrooms on the main floor.
Your comfort matters to us. If you have mobility concerns or need assistance navigating the venue, please reach out—we'll do our best with the venue to make accommodations to help ensure you have everything you need.
Are kids welcome?
Not this time around. We love your kids, but we are going kid-free for the evening, except for our niece and nephews. We hope you understand. If you are traveling with your kids and would like help finding childcare for the evening, let us know, we certainly have plenty of local friends with kids who may be able to help.
How Should I get there or What airport should I fly into?
Reagan National Airport (DCA) –
DCA is our top pick: it's closest to DC, small and easy to navigate, and typically a quick trip to the city. If DCA costs $50-$100 more than Dulles, it's worth it—you'll likely save that difference (and more) in transportation time and cost.
Other Options:
Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) – About 45 minutes from DC.
BWI Airport – About an hour from DC.
Amtrak – Union Station is centrally located in the city
The wedding venue + Hotel are located on the Metro Red Line.
Are you registered anywhere?
